Primary Research

Every piece of work though must come from inspiration from primary examples and not just others work. Primary examples i have found that show repetition without organic forms and structures include:



Clouds are an organic form that could be replicated with paper to form
repetition or reflect the different nature and styles that occour. Like with
paper lighting and folds affect how we view them.

Water over large areas repeats itself and with the right techniques i
could attempt to copy and mimick the style that is created by liquid when
it is in motion.

Textures and surfaces we see and often take for granted if looked at
closely or in the right scale also show structure and pattern.


I shall be capturing my own primary research in the following days to use for my project and seeing how different lighting and angles can affect the outcome.
